SOBA ๐ NOODLES!!! the first time i ate them properly was with Debbie & Shu Tawkikawa on their farm in Santa Ynez, also the home of the most incredible produce @the_garden_of_ ๐๐๐
This is Shu, and his pup. they put nori in their soba and then dip it in sauce, i sauced my noodles and ate them because thatโs what felt right while assembling this
some facts! soba noodles are made from buckwheat which are naturally gluten free! traditionally eaten in japan and dipped in soy base sauce, in the US often a peanut
they are high in protein and naturally DELICIOUS! ๐คค
served cold!
Ingredients:
1 packet of soba noodles
2 cucumbers
2 carrots
1 radish
scallions
soy sauce
rice wine vinegar
sesame oil
Method:
Cook soba noodles for 2 minutes in boiling water, immediately cool under cold water
chop all veg to the size of your liking
1/3c soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
3 tablespoons sesame oil
add sliced scallions to dipping sauce and whisk together
pour over or dip in and thatโs it! looks impressive, takes 5 minutes and itโs a nutritious meal
*additional add ons to sauce: grated ginger, grated garlic, sugar, olive oil
